Collaborating with carefully selected sewing and fabric factories across Japan,
the brand pursues high-quality apparel that seamlessly integrates into everyday life.

Emphasis is placed on developing original fabrics using a variety of jacquard looms and knitting machines, actively promoting and preserving the advanced skills of Japanese artisans.

After studying design and pattern making at a fashion vocational school, he joined Nepenthes Co., Ltd.
Following experience in design, planning, production, and press, he went independent and launched his own brand,
superNova., in the Spring/Summer 2013 season.

We combine the techniques and materials of traditional Japanese textile industries from across the country with contemporary clothing design, offering high-quality Japanese-made garments that enrich everyday life.

We carefully select materials and craftsmanship from various regions of Japan to create garments that are cherished for years.

In particular, we focus on producing original fabrics using jacquard looms and jacquard knitting machines.

In the brand’s staple denim series, fabrics from Okayama - one of the world’s leading denim regions — are used.
From yarn spinning and dyeing to fabric production and sewing, all processes are carried out entirely in Japan.
By working directly with factories, the brand achieves both high quality and excellent cost performance.
