A leather track jacket made from horsehide leather.

Based on our classic track jacket, this leather version has been newly created.

While maintaining the relaxed silhouette that defines superNova.’s track jackets, this piece emphasizes the natural texture and character of leather. We use “unfinished horsehide,” which is lightweight, soft, and allows for large pattern cutting.

Horsehide: Due to the large size of the horse, the hide itself has a large surface area, making it possible to cut large parts.

Unfinished leather: After dyeing, the leather is finished with minimal use of pigments or chemical coatings, preserving its original texture and natural appearance.

The leather thickness has been carefully adjusted, resulting in a jacket that is lighter and softer than typical leather jackets. It prioritizes ease of movement, staying true to the original functionality of a track jacket.

The lining uses a thermal material that absorbs and converts infrared rays to generate heat, providing warmth.
(The lining is plain black.)

The body width and armholes are designed with a relaxed fit. The front features an EXCELLA® double zipper. Slanted pockets are placed on both sides for easy hand access. Elastic cuffs and hem, eyelet ventilation under the arms, and other track jacket details are harmoniously integrated into a leather jacket design.
