Wide selvedge jeans - Rigid denim / Indigo

The fabric is made from 13oz 100% cotton selvedge denim from Okayama, woven using rope-dyed yarn.

Selvedge denim is characterized by a distinct texture throughout the fabric, giving it a distinctive presence compared to other denims.

This item is a rigid, unwashed item.

Also known as raw denim, it is prone to fading and wear (wrinkles and scuffs) with wear, allowing it to develop into a unique piece.

It is woven slowly on a shuttle loom, incorporating air over a long period of time, resulting in a fabric that is airy and fuller than regular denim.

The indigo color is sewn with a gold-brown stitch.

Selvedge (red edge) is used on the front and back side seams.

The wide silhouette with a single pleat is designed to create a beautiful silhouette reminiscent of elegant slacks, rather than the typical jeans silhouette.

Bias pockets are used for easy access to the side pockets.

The characteristic front rivets of these jeans have been intentionally removed and reinforced with clasps, giving them a clean look that will easily coordinate with a variety of outfits.

These jeans feature the kind of stitching seen in vintage jeans, and the back pockets feature reinforced fabric, hidden clasps, and hidden rivets, reinforcing areas prone to wear and tear to ensure they last a long time.
